The clients requested the alteration and refurbishment of an existing rooftop conversion in their 1920s terraced house.

Inspired by the efficient handling of space in the social housing schemes of the adjacent Hufeisensiedlung (1925-1933), the design strategy aimed to deal with the program as space-efficent as possible in order  to maximize the ambience of the central attic space.
